For a family that loves the industrial style, I was allowed to take over the design of their maisonette flat. The aim was to take into account the existing elements, such as the kitchen, and integrate them into the overall concept. Inspired by the architecture of the apartment building itself, I chose a discreet expression of the industrial style to emphasise the character of the space.

 

A striking feature of the industrial style are the brick walls, which give the living space a rustic and authentic charm. To create a harmonious atmosphere, accents in terracotta and blue tones were placed in certain rooms, such as the bedroom and the fitness room. These colours give the rooms a special touch and create an inviting and cosy environment.

 

When selecting the furniture and accessories, care was taken to support the industrial character of the room in a modern and appealing way. Clean lines, simple shapes and functional elements contribute to the contemporary aesthetic while allowing comfortable use of the living space.

 

The result is a modern maisonette that reflects the family's enthusiasm for industrial style. The toned-down industrial elements create a special atmosphere that is both inspiring and cosy. The combination of rustic brick walls and the selected accents in terracotta and blue tones gives the flat an individual and inviting touch.
