The renovation of a traditional country house in northern Slovakia brings together original charm and a clear, contemporary design language. The aim was to preserve characteristic elements while introducing carefully placed modern accents.

Traditional materials were retained and complemented by distinctive details—such as handcrafted relief tiles inspired by classic patterns, and a wooden washbasin made in a local workshop. Each room was planned to balance functionality with a calm, inviting atmosphere.

The result is a space that radiates tranquillity while subtly merging history and the present.
