This second design alternative for the holiday chalet in northern Slovakia shares the same functional layout but follows a much more tactile and grounded aesthetic. Created for short-term rental, the interior is designed to be both welcoming and durable – ideal for families with children.

Locally sourced wood and stone define the material palette, lending the space a raw, natural character that feels directly connected to the surrounding landscape. The atmosphere is that of a modern cabin – warm and inviting, yet distinctly contemporary.

Wooden surfaces extend throughout the interior, wrapping walls and ceilings in a cohesive gesture. Recycled elements and locally crafted pieces were intentionally integrated to highlight the value of regional craftsmanship. Stone details add a rustic accent while balancing the space with a subtle elegance.
